Akoya Pearl Necklace 8.0mm AA+ White. The 8mm Akoya Pearl Necklace is our second best selling size. This is the first size of the rarer sizes of pearls. The reason for this is that it takes twice as long for each size to grow after the first three sizes. From this size up the prices climb almost at a geometric progression. Every stage of the growth becomes more and more difficult to harvest, which makes the larger sizes more and more valuable. This cultured pearl necklace shows that the woman who wearing this is successful. It looks fabulous as everyday wear, yet luxurious as evening wear. Because it takes twice as long for a pearl to reach this size, it has a much better chance than the smaller sizes to appreciate in value. As in our other necklaces, this pearl necklace is created by double knotting between each pearl to ensure the safety of the pearls.
       For your choice this saltwater pearl necklace is available in a brilliant white body color or a rich, warm ivory body color. Add further custom effects by choosing: rose’ / pink. Silver or no overtone colors. Then add more customization by choosing a 14k solid gold clasp in either white or yellow gold. Perhaps a further personalization with one of our special clasps will help make this even more special.
       Strung on fine silk and double knotted between each pearl, protects the pearls against loss.
